Lentil and sesame sauce

Ingredients

  • Dal lentil: half a cup
  • Water: two cups
  • Fine bulgur: three-quarters of a cup
  • Olive oil: two tablespoons
  • Chopped spring onion: one piece
  • Chopped parsley: two tablespoons
  • Grilled red pepper: three-quarters of a cup
  • Kale: two cups, grated
  • Oghab sesame sauce: as needed

Method of preparation

Cook the dal lentil with water. Then add the bulgur. Wait thirty minutes for the bulgur to absorb the water and soften. In the meantime, fry the onion, cumin, and red pepper together. Add the onion, salt, parsley, and spring onion mixture to the dal lentil and bulgur and wait for it to cool. You can serve the dal lentil with bread and Oghab sesame sauce.
