Fasanjan stew with sesame

Ingredients

A quarter of a whole chicken

1 onion

100 grams of walnuts

2 cups of chicken broth

150 to 180 grams of pomegranate paste

100 grams of Oghab peanut butter

A quarter cup of sugar

50 to 100 grams of Oghab sesame seeds

Oil, salt, pepper, and turmeric as needed

How to prepare

First, fry the chicken in a small amount of oil and boil it with onion, salt, pepper, and turmeric, then remove the chicken bones.

Grind the walnuts and boil them in a pot with chicken broth for 25 minutes.

Then add the Oghab peanut butter and pomegranate paste to the walnuts and let it simmer in the pot for another 15 minutes.

Finally, add the sugar and chicken to the contents of the pot and let the stew simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Pour the stew into a bowl and add the eagle sesame seeds.
