Ingredients for making Chinese chicken salad
4 cups chopped chicken
3 cups chopped lettuce
2 cups chopped purple cabbage
2 medium scallions
1 medium cucumber
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1 cup noodles (vermicelli)
1 tangerine or orange if desired
2 tablespoons of Oghab plain sesame sauce
2 tablespoons of Oghab sesame seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How to prepare
Put the chicken, lettuce, purple cabbage and chopped almonds in a relatively large bowl, then chop the scallions and cucumbers and add them to the rest of the ingredients.
Put the noodles in boiling water and drain them. If you don’t have the option of making noodles, you can use vermicelli or noodles.
Then, in a smaller bowl, mix together the simple sesame sauce, tangerine or orange, salt, pepper, and salted roasted sesame seeds.
Finally, add the sauce to the salad bowl and enjoy!
