Ingredients
- 1/4 cup date molasses
- 2 and 1/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons clove powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup Oghab sesame
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
Instructions
First, set the oven temperature to 175 degrees Celsius so that it is ready to start baking.
Next, in a bowl, mix together the flour, ginger, sesame seeds, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt, and in a separate bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until smooth.
In the third step, mix together the eggs, orange juice, and date molasses.
At this point, add the dry ingredients to the egg, orange juice, and date molasses mixture of the Oghab Halva and mix until the ingredients form a dough, then cover and refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes.
After about 30 minutes, remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it into a walnut-sized ball, then flatten the balls using the bottom of a glass.
Place the biscuits in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes and be patient until your healthy snack is ready. Enjoy.
